THE FILM PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE
An in-depth course on how to shoot film from start to finish through bite sized videos that teach the fundamentals of photography all the way to everything you need to know about how to shoot film so that we can confidently get a great photograph.
I bring you into a classroom setting and walk step by step through the concepts. In addition I bring you out into real life scenarios where I shoot film out in the world while reviewing what we have gone over in the classroom.
After the film is shot, we come back into the classroom, and I walk through sending film off to the lab, what happens behind the scenes during film scanning, and how I edit my film scans.

Is this course good for a beginner?
Yes! I start from the very beginning of how to take a photograph using the basic principles of photography, and walk you through all the steps of shooting on film.
Do I have to watch the course in one sitting?
You can start and stop the videos and go at your own pace. If you leave, you can come back and finish the course.
The course goes very in depth, so it is recommended to take your time to ensure you have the concepts down.
How long do I have access to the course?
Forever! Once purchased, you have access immediately, so if you are feeling a little fuzzy on the details later on when you’re out there in the world taking photographs, feel free to come back into the course for a little refresh.
I’m scared to shoot film, will this help?

The course is incredibly in depth. I repeat key concepts throughout the entire course and walk you through step by step.
Do I already need a film camera before I watch the course? I don’t know which one to get.
If you want to get a film camera before you start the course, make sure you change the manual settings for aperture and shutter speed.
If you are unsure of what to get, I cover different cameras and why you would choose one over the other based on your needs.

I will teach anything and everything that I think will be of use, both for beginners and advanced photographers. Topics can range from how I specifically edit, presets and programs I use, gear questions, client experience, booking process, how I market, printing, setting up a system for my business, workflow, quite literally everything I can share?
WILL I LEARN HOW YOU EDIT?
Absolutely. I will provide live links through the private IG account, where you can sit with me as I edit, and I show you everything that I do. If you miss a Live Edit, don’t worry, it’ll be recorded for viewing later.
IS ONLY PHOTOGRAPHY TECHNICAL INFORMATION COVERED?
This will be anything that I think will help you as an artist. That can range from things I’ve learned with focus aid, how I set up my calendar, balancing work and family life, inspiration I’ve found, books I’ve learned from, and also all the technical photography information.
IS SHOOTING FILM COVERED?
Shooting film is not covered due to the density of the information and needed a proper and large video course. But there will be times where we cover bits of film related questions.
